Write or Paste Ad Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS) in Bangkok is currently inviting applications for the position of Lower Secondary English & Music Teacher. The role is scheduled to begin on 5 May 2026 and offers a competitive salary that reflects the applicant’s qualifications and teaching experience.

Native speakers only, please.

SBS is looking for a motivated and dedicated native English-speaking teacher to join its international faculty. The successful candidate will work with lower secondary students and contribute to a supportive and multicultural learning environment.

The primary responsibility of this role is teaching English and Music to students in Years 7–10. While applicants do not need to specialize in exam-level English instruction, they should be comfortable helping students improve their English skills and capable of delivering engaging music lessons.

This opportunity is well suited to an enthusiastic and adaptable educator who enjoys teaching younger secondary students. The school values teachers who are creative, flexible, and eager to contribute to both academic programmes and extracurricular school activities.

Key duties include teaching English with a focus on developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities. In addition, the teacher will deliver music lessons covering fundamental theory, listening, performance, creativity, and group music activities.

Teachers are expected to design and deliver well-structured lessons that follow the Cambridge International Curriculum and the school’s teaching plans. They must also prepare learning materials, assessments, and lesson plans while maintaining accurate records within the school’s administrative systems.

Another important aspect of the role is adapting teaching strategies to suit students with different learning needs, including those who speak English as an additional language. Teachers should regularly assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback that supports student development.

The teacher will also create a positive classroom environment by setting clear expectations and encouraging students’ academic and personal growth. Communication with parents or guardians about student progress and wellbeing is an essential part of the job.

Beyond classroom teaching, the successful candidate may help organize or lead music-related extracurricular activities such as choir groups, ensembles, performances, assemblies, or clubs. Participation in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events is also required.

Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Music, Performing Arts, or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification. At least two years of teaching experience is preferred, and familiarity with international curricula or teaching English language learners will be considered an advantage.

SBS offers a supportive employment package that includes a competitive salary, health insurance after probation, paid holidays, professional development opportunities, and assistance with visas and work permits.

Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, CV with photo, short introduction video, and two professional references when applying for the position to:
