The Demonstration School of Silpakorn University in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, is seeking a Science teacher for Grades 1 through 6 as part of its English Program. This full-time position offers a salary of 50,000 THB per month and is open strictly to native English speakers. The role will begin on 20 May 2026.

The position requires a maximum teaching load of 18 hours per week and is initially offered on a one-year contract. Extensions may be considered based on performance evaluations. The successful candidate will work within the Elementary Department of the school.

Personal or sensitive information may be omitted if necessary. Required submissions include a CV or resume, copies of educational transcripts and degree certificates, a copy of the passport and visa page, and a 3-5 minute teaching demonstration video for Grades 1–6 (or a self-introduction video).

To qualify for this role, candidates must be native English speakers with at least a bachelor’s degree. Education-related degrees are considered an advantage. Applicants should also have basic knowledge of elementary education and child development, and the ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Flexibility in work schedule is essential, and 1–3 years of teaching experience will be regarded as a plus. Candidates should demonstrate professional responsibility, patience, and a collaborative approach to teaching.

The main responsibilities include teaching 18 hours per week, which encompasses both Science lessons and club activities. Teachers will also supervise students during morning homeroom, breaks, and lunchtime, as well as evaluate students’ academic and personal development.

Additional duties include participating in orientations twice a year, taking notes after teaching, attending meetings and training sessions, joining school activities, and carrying out other responsibilities assigned by the school.

The school provides benefits such as health insurance after one year of employment, social security, participation in summer camps, and extra pay for after-school teaching. Teachers currently in Thailand may need to leave and re-enter the country under a Non-Immigrant Type B visa, while those abroad must secure a visa before arrival.

For visa processing, teachers cover their own Non-B visa costs, though the school will provide supporting documents. The school will pay for the one-year work permit, which costs 3,100 THB. Interested candidates are encouraged to prepare their applications carefully to meet these requirements.

Only candidates who are shortlisted will be contacted for further steps in the hiring process. Therefore, it is recommended that applications are complete and clearly presented.
