The school is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and professionally certified educator to become part of its international faculty. The successful candidate will be committed to helping students achieve academic success while actively contributing to both curricular and extracurricular programmes. The primary responsibility of this role is teaching IGCSE Global Perspectives, together with selected humanities subjects, in accordance with the Cambridge curriculum. The teacher will be expected to prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional resources, while maintaining records through the school’s administrative systems. Teaching approaches should be adapted to suit different learning needs, interests, and abilities within the classroom. Additional duties include assessing student achievement, monitoring academic progress, and providing constructive feedback. The teacher will establish clear classroom expectations and regularly observe and evaluate students’ academic performance, behaviour, social development, and wellbeing. Communication with colleagues, parents, and guardians is essential to discuss student progress and address academic or behavioural concerns when necessary. The successful applicant will also design and implement remedial support programmes for students who require extra assistance. Participation in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide events is expected. Furthermore, teachers are encouraged to organise and contribute to extracurricular activities such as clubs, competitions, and other student enrichment programmes, as well as undertake additional professional duties assigned by the Principal. Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a closely related discipline. A recognised teaching qualification, licence, or certification is required, and preference will be given to candidates who hold a teaching licence. Applicants currently residing in Thailand will also be viewed favourably. Candidates should have at least three years of teaching experience following the completion of an accredited teaching qualification and have worked in a well-structured school environment. Experience teaching IGCSE Global Perspectives, Business, or Economics is essential, while experience teaching AS and A Level Business or Economics is considered highly desirable. Familiarity with international curricula, EAL learners, and working within expatriate communities will be an advantage. The school seeks educators with native or near-native English proficiency, equivalent to a minimum of CEFR C1 level. Strong communication, presentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are important, alongside effective classroom management, organisational abilities, interpersonal skills, and teamwork. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient, positive, flexible, and dedicated to student success.
