| Write or Paste Ad | Glory Singapore International School is seeking to hire a Native English-Speaking teacher for both primary and secondary levels, offering a starting salary of 60,000 Baht per month, with an immediate start date available for successful candidates currently based in Thailand. The role involves planning and delivering a complete teaching program, teaching up to 20 one-hour periods per week, and covering foundational skills such as literacy, numeracy, and students’ personal, social, and emotional development in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. Teachers will be responsible for preparing and organizing learning materials, monitoring student progress through regular assessment, and ensuring learners consistently develop and master key skills while fostering positive interaction, cooperation, and sharing among students. Maintaining clear and professional communication with parents is essential, including providing relevant updates on student performance and development, while also working collaboratively with school administrators and adhering to established teaching standards and safety policies. A strong focus on child safeguarding is required, with teachers expected to actively contribute to a secure learning environment and take responsibility for the protection and wellbeing of all students under their care. Applicants must have prior teaching experience, a solid understanding of child development and modern educational practices, and demonstrate creativity, patience, flexibility, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication skills. Candidates are required to hold a valid teaching license and a Bachelor’s degree in Education, be proficient in using computers and educational technology, possess a valid criminal background check, and provide two professional references, which will be contacted before shortlisting. All applicants must currently reside in Thailand and will be required to complete a written test, attend an interview, and conduct a teaching demonstration, with additional questions related to safeguarding forming part of the selection process.
