We are hiring a dedicated and qualified teacher for secondary level II (grades 11–12) to join our team starting August 1, 2026. The school is looking for someone to teach English, geography (in English), and physical education to students preparing for the Swiss Matura. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in English, geography, and PE for secondary level II. This includes not only teaching but also preparing materials, conducting lessons, and following up to ensure learning objectives are achieved. A key part of the role is to foster students’ academic growth, language proficiency, and methodological skills. Teachers are expected to guide students in achieving their full potential while preparing them for international qualifications such as the Swiss Matura. The position also involves collaborating on school development initiatives and participating in various educational projects. Teachers will contribute to improving the curriculum and supporting innovation within the school’s teaching practices. Working closely with colleagues and parents is essential. The teacher should maintain constructive communication with both groups to support students’ learning and wellbeing effectively. Beyond classroom teaching, the teacher will actively engage in school life. This includes involvement in extracurricular activities, events, and the international school community to enhance the overall student experience. Applicants should hold a completed teaching degree for secondary level II in at least one of the subjects mentioned. Experience with international education systems such as the Swiss Matura, IB, or German Abitur is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong pedagogical skills, motivation, flexibility, and the ability to work well in a team. A willingness to embrace professional development, adapt to different teaching environments, and work abroad for several years is essential. We are seeking a teacher with a positive outlook, resilience, and a sense of humor. Experience in effectively collaborating with parents and a genuine interest in international education will be advantageous.
