| Write or Paste Ad | Prince of Songkla University, through its Faculty of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences at the Surat Thani Campus, is inviting applications for full-time Foreign Lecturer positions. The campus is recognized as a growing higher education institution serving Thailand’s upper southern region. The Faculty is currently recruiting two foreign lecturers to join its academic team. These are full-time appointments based at the Suratthani Campus. Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching English language courses for approximately 15 hours per week. In addition, they are expected to hold office hours totaling 15 hours weekly to advise and support both students and fellow lecturers. The role also includes planning and organizing supplementary activities aimed at enhancing students’ English proficiency. Lecturers will contribute to the academic community by editing scholarly articles and assisting with academic publications. Research is another important component of the position. Appointees are expected to conduct academic research and contribute to the Faculty’s scholarly output. Candidates will also develop and deliver short training programs designed for students and local communities. Participation in Faculty and University events is required, along with other duties assigned as needed. Applicants must hold at least a Master’s or Doctoral degree in English Language Teaching, TESOL, TEFL, or a closely related discipline. A minimum of one year of teaching experience is required, and candidates must be under 55 years of age. Applicants from non-English-speaking countries are welcome to apply; however, they must provide valid English proficiency test scores. Acceptable minimum scores include TOEFL ITP 513, TOEFL iBT 65, IELTS 5.5, or TOEIC 605. For candidates holding a doctoral degree, the salary is 30,000 Baht per month, with an additional monthly allowance of 10,000 Baht. Those with a Master’s degree will receive 24,600 Baht per month, plus the same 10,000 Baht allowance.
