| Write or Paste Ad | The Newton Group, established in 2019, is an international school located in central Bangkok, only a few minutes’ walk from the Siam BTS station. The school offers education for students from Grade 2 to Grade 7 in the primary section and from Grade 8 to Grade 13 in the senior section. The school follows internationally recognized academic programs, including the IGCSE, International A-Level (IAL), and BTEC curricula under Pearson. These programs aim to prepare students with strong academic foundations and internationally transferable qualifications. Newton Group has a diverse teaching team consisting of both international and Thai educators. Many of the Thai teachers possess near-native English proficiency, allowing the school to maintain a high standard of English communication and instruction throughout its programs. The school is recruiting several teachers for its secondary-level programs. These positions provide an opportunity for qualified educators to work in an international academic environment focused on high-quality education. The first available position is for a Physics Teacher who will teach IGCSE Physics to students in Years 10 and 11. If the teacher has the appropriate qualifications and experience, they may also have the opportunity to teach or transition into the International A-Level (IAL) program for Years 12 and 13. The second position is for a Mathematics Teacher who will teach IGCSE Mathematics to Years 10 and 11 students. Similar to the Physics role, candidates who are suitably qualified may also assist with or teach Mathematics in the IAL program for Years 12 and 13. The third opening is for a General Science Teacher responsible for teaching students in Years 8 and 9. This role focuses on building students’ foundational scientific knowledge and preparing them for further science studies at the IGCSE level. Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant academic field related to the subject they intend to teach. Higher academic qualifications may also be beneficial for candidates seeking positions within the senior academic programs. Candidates are expected to have at least one year of teaching experience delivering in-class lessons within their specialized subject area to students of a similar age group. While experience with Pearson’s IGCSE and IAL programs would be helpful, it is not mandatory because the school provides training and support. Preference will be given to native English-speaking applicants, particularly those already living in Thailand. Thai nationals who are able to teach effectively in English are also encouraged to apply for these teaching positions. Teachers will work from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with an ideal starting date of April 2026, although this may be flexible depending on the candidate’s current employment situation. The school offers a starting salary of at least 50,000 Baht per month depending on qualifications and experience, along with a one-month annual bonus, private health insurance after probation, a renewable 12-month contract, visa and work permit support, and a return flight to the teacher’s home country after each year of service (up to 50,000 Baht).
