In this role, the teacher will lead a Grade 1 class through an experiential curriculum that combines core academic learning with outdoor activities and inquiry-based exploration. The position is especially suited for educators who are interested in progressive teaching methods such as Waldorf education, forest school practices, or other student-centered philosophies. Applicants should be qualified primary teachers, preferably with experience in early primary education. A strong interest in nature-based or holistic education is essential, along with openness to alternative teaching styles, creativity in lesson planning, and a nurturing and flexible attitude toward children’s learning. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are also important for this position.
