The Programme Coordinator is responsible for a variety of organizational, operational, academic, and administrative duties within the Centre. This includes collaborating with school administrators to prepare and coordinate timetables, allocate classrooms, and manage external programmes. The coordinator ensures that all schedules, class attendance records, and exam timetables are accurate and up to date. Additionally, the Programme Coordinator assigns teachers and multimedia lab administrators to the appropriate classes and programme components. They also implement any programme changes or curriculum updates as provided by the Just English headquarters. The role requires accurate and timely reporting, including the submission of weekly, periodic, and ad hoc reports to both the school and Just English headquarters. A key aspect of the Programme Coordinator’s role is academic leadership. This involves conducting training sessions and professional development opportunities for teachers to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality instruction. The coordinator also supervises the administration of placement tests, ensuring that students are properly placed in classes according to their skill level. To qualify for the Programme Coordinator position, candidates should possess the following educational background and experience: A Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Education, English, TEFL/TESL, or a related field is preferred. However, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree combined with equivalent experience will also be considered for the role. Candidates must have a minimum of four years of experience in second language teaching, specifically in ESL/EFL. Additionally, the Programme Coordinator should have at least three years of experience in a managerial or programme coordination role within English language education. Familiarity with international language exams, such as CEFR, Cambridge, TOEFL, and IELTS, as well as preparation and testing, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will be a committed educational leader with strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills. They should be results-driven, with a strong sense of accountability for both their own work and the performance of their team. Leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and conflict resolution strategies are important attributes.
