The school is searching for an enthusiastic, committed, and experienced Secondary Chemistry Teacher to become part of its vibrant international faculty on the stunning island of Koh Samui, Thailand.

The successful candidate will be tasked with delivering engaging and rigorous IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry courses, creating a positive learning atmosphere, and participating in the broader school community.

Being able to teach A-Level Biology alongside Chemistry would be considered an advantage.

The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality Chemistry lessons that align with Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curriculum standards, while using a range of teaching strategies to address the varied learning needs of students.

Responsibilities also include designing engaging practicals and laboratory experiences, preparing students for external examinations, monitoring and reporting on student progress, providing academic guidance and pastoral care, collaborating with science department colleagues, participating in school events and activities, contributing to curriculum development, and upholding high professional and ethical standards.

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field, hold a recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, have experience teaching IGCSE and A-Level Chemistry or similar curricula, and demonstrate knowledge of Cambridge Assessment International Education standards, with experience in international or multicultural schools being highly desirable and A-Level Biology teaching ability being an advantage, while laboratory safety and classroom management skills are essential.
