Write or Paste Ad The Thai-Japanese Association School in Bangkok is recuiting a NATIVE- SPEAKING Primary English Teacher for its Bangkok campus.

With nearly 2,500 Japanese students enrolled, it stands as the largest Japanese school outside of Japan, providing a well-organized, well-resourced, and culturally diverse workplace with strong support and long-term job security.

The compensation package includes a monthly salary and allowances ranging from 80,000 to 90,000 THB, depending on the candidate's Japanese proficiency. A yearly completion bonus equivalent to 200% of one month's salary is also offered. Additionally, the school contributes 3% to a provident fund on behalf of the employee.

Benefits extend to 40 days of paid vacation in addition to Thai public holidays. Overseas hires receive airfare coverage, and both local and overseas hires are eligible for a 60,000 THB school departure allowance. Full health insurance is provided, along with visa and work permit arrangements.

The Grade 5/6 English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, student-centered English lessons. Instruction should integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Lessons must be planned in alignment with the school curriculum, and student progress should be assessed with constructive feedback provided.

Additional duties include maintaining accurate academic records and participating in school events and activities. The teacher will also contribute to curriculum development, helping to shape and improve the English program offered to students.

Required qualifications include being a native English speaker from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in Education, PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification, along with a valid teaching license or QTS (or Thai teaching license). Original academic documents and a clean criminal background check are also required.
