The instructional responsibilities include designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet appropriate curricular outcomes. Teachers must differentiate instruction to address the needs of all students. They should apply knowledge of child development and cognitive theory when designing lessons and units.

Teachers are expected to be knowledgeable about their assigned content areas and aware of current pedagogical trends. They should also be familiar with information resources for their subjects and the use of technology. Lesson plans must be created, maintained, and implemented in conjunction with the school's curriculum.

A variety of activities should be used that align with curricular outcomes, student ability, and learning styles. Teachers will design, develop, implement, and monitor unit planning and curriculum consistent with the school's outcomes, philosophy, and mission. They are also responsible for communicating with the management team regarding the evaluation and purchase of texts and materials, and for engaging in research-based professional growth activities.

Classroom management duties include creating an environment of respect and ongoing positive communication. Teachers must establish a culture of learning and manage student behaviour with firmness and fairness, following school policy and regulations outlined in the student handbook. Effective routines and procedures should be used to create an organized and positive learning environment.

Assessment responsibilities involve using established criteria, standards, and current practices that align with instructional goals and curricular outcomes. Students and parents should be made aware of assessment expectations by providing criteria, such as rubrics, in advance of assignments and projects. Teachers must encourage student progress, maintain accurate documentation of achievement, and use assessment for learning.

Additional expectations include demonstrating commitment to the values and philosophy of the school. Teachers should engage in dialogue and work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and parents on school-wide issues related to teaching and learning. They are also expected to contribute to and enhance the positive climate of the school community.

Teachers must participate in or sponsor school and student activities. They should maintain regular communication with parents and school personnel regarding student progress. Supervisory duties and substitution of classes must be fulfilled when called upon. Finally, teachers should collaborate with colleagues to maximize student learning of the curriculum.

Salary: 80,000+ Baht per month (full time), depending on qualifications and experience.
