Narinukun International Programme · Narinukun School

Narinukun International Programme, under the administration of Narinukun School, is inviting applications from enthusiastic, committed, and qualified educators for the position of Biology Teacher at its Cambridge International School. The appointed teacher will mainly be responsible for teaching Biology to secondary and upper-secondary students, covering IGCSE, AS and A Level programmes, while also supporting general Science lessons for students in lower year groups. The ideal candidate should be passionate about education and capable of creating an engaging learning environment that encourages scientific curiosity and academic achievement.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and delivering well-structured, interactive, and academically challenging lessons that strengthen students’ biological knowledge, practical investigation abilities, analytical thinking, and understanding of how Biology relates to everyday life. Previous experience teaching Cambridge International Biology or other Cambridge Science subjects will be considered a significant advantage. The position offers a starting salary of 37,000 THB per month throughout the initial three-month probationary period, increasing to 40,000 THB per month upon successful completion. The expected commencement date is 2 November 2026, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30. The teaching workload will not exceed 20 periods per week, with each period lasting 50 minutes. Teachers are entitled to paid holidays and all official public holidays. The school will provide full support with visa and work permit arrangements, with associated expenses reimbursed through monthly instalments. All classrooms are air-conditioned and furnished with a television or projector. Annual salary increments may be awarded based on performance after completing two full academic years.

Applicants should hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, Science Education, or a relevant discipline. Candidates with a Master’s degree or PhD in Biology or a related biological science are particularly encouraged to apply. A recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE, PGCEi, B.Ed., M.Ed., a teaching licence, or an equivalent certification, is strongly preferred. Applicants should have experience teaching Biology at secondary or upper-secondary level, preferably within the Cambridge International curriculum, including IGCSE, AS and A Level. They must also be comfortable teaching general Science to younger students, demonstrate a strong understanding of biological concepts, and be able to communicate scientific information effectively. The ability to develop interesting, practical, and inquiry-based lessons is essential. Candidates must be fluent and confident in English, with at least one to two years of teaching experience, although exceptional newly qualified teachers may also be considered. Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, are required, alongside excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management abilities. A responsible, professional, adaptable, and cooperative attitude is also expected when working in an international school setting.

Shortlisted applicants must be prepared to attend an in-person interview, although candidates currently living overseas may request an interview through Google Meet. Applicants will be required to bring their original degree certificates and academic transcripts for verification. A teaching demonstration may also form part of the selection process to assess teaching ability and classroom delivery. The recruitment schedule is as follows: applications will be accepted from 19–26 October 2026, followed by qualification screening on 27 October 2026. The list of eligible candidates will be announced on 28 October 2026, with examinations and interviews scheduled for 29 October 2026. The successful candidate will be announced on 30 October 2026 and is expected to begin work on 2 November 2026.
